Cyber Security Technologies Affiliate Honored with National Tibbetts Award
Architecture Technology Corporation recognized for developing innovative technology that has experienced significant economic impact and business success.
Eden Prairie, MN. October 16, 2007. Cyber Security Technologies (CST) announced today that its affiliate company, Architecture Technology Corporation (ATC) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, has been selected for the National Tibbetts Award. ATC was one of 55 recipients honored nationwide and was selected from a pool of more than 4,000 companies that receive contracts and grants from the Federal Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) program.
Cyber Security Technologies is a spinout of ATC which markets computer security, incident response and digital investigations software developed by ATC. These products include the OnLine Digital Forensic Suite™ (OnLineDFS™) for the investigation of live computer systems in networks, and P2P Marshal™ for the investigation of misuse of peer-to-peer software. The core technology of OnLineDFS was developed by ATC under an SBIR contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome, NY. It is used by enterprise IT security professionals and service providers who need state-of-the-art software solutions for incident response, compliance monitoring and e-discovery, as well as by law enforcement and the military.
"The SBIR program allows us to challenge our engineers and give them opportunities to work on projects at the highest levels of national need," said Gene Proctor, ATC’s vice president for business development. "We are very pleased to see the national recognition accorded to ATC in being selected to receive the National Tibbetts Award," remarked John Metil, CEO of CST. "With ATC as our technology partner, we plan to continue to commercialize software technology developed by ATC that has relevance to the markets we serve."
About Cyber Security Technologies
Cyber Security Technologies (CST) is the innovation leader in affordable software solutions for the investigation of computer systems.
Our OnLine Digital Forensic SuiteTM (OnLineDFSTM) enables network-based, real-time investigations of live, running computer systems without pre-installed agents. OnLineDFS is designed for information technology security professionals in corporations, government agencies and law enforcement. It provides IT security personnel with the tools to make a rapid, forensically sound determination about whether a security or compliance issue exists in a computer so that quick corrective action can be taken. It is a valuable solution for incident response, compliance, e-discovery and law enforcement applications in a live environment.
CST's recently-released new product is P2P Marshal, a computer forensic software product to analyze peer-to-peer usage on images of hard drives. P2P Marshal automatically detects and identifies a roster of commonly used P2P software which is or was present on the hard drive under investigation. Peer-to-peer software misuse is frequently found by law enforcement in computer crime investigations.
