Product Maintenance and Support Programs for Purchased Products
Product Maintenance and Support is included in the product license price for the initial twelve months of the license term. For Maintenance and Support purposes only, the initial twelve months of the license term shall be deemed to begin upon registration of the product or thirty days from payment for the product, whichever comes first. Subsequent years shall be deemed to begin on the anniversary date of the first day of the initial twelve months of the license term. Starting in year two and each year thereafter, the Annual Product Maintenance and Support fee for our standard level of maintenance and support is 20% of the then-current license list price.
Standard Maintenance and Support is as follows.
Product Maintenance provides for distribution of future releases of the software at no additional charge that are the functional equivalent of the product for which the Maintenance and Support service has been purchased.
Product Support provides for email support to address software bugs. E-mail will be answered during normal business hours in the Eastern time zone of the United States. We will exert our best efforts to respond to issues in a timely fashion; however, our response time may vary depending on the complexity of the support issue and our workload at the time. Maintenance and Support is provided subject to the terms and conditions of the software license agreement or end user license agreement for the particular product.
Product Maintenance and Support is included in subscription pricing.
Product Maintenance and Support is not included for corporate and non-US end users who have received products free of charge. Annual Product Maintenance and Support may be purchased for 20% of the then-current license list price per year.
