I'm trying to restore this Nintendo Vs. Dualsystem cabinet.

The left monitor is a Sanyo 20EZ.  After installing a cap kit, it works fine.  Though, it has some pretty bad Super Mario Bros burn-in.

The right monitor is a Sharp XM-2001N.  It has some problem that I need help diagnosing.  Please see below.

This is what the XM-2001N looked like before I installed a cap kit.

NOTE:  The "screen" adjustment is turned all the way up to take this picture.  Otherwise the screen would be entirely black.

This is what the XM-2001N looks like after I installed a cap kit.  If I plug the connections to the left monitor, the game plays fine.  When I unplug the left monitor and plug those into the right monitor, this is what I get.

No, that guy that looks like he's taking a picture isn't burn-in!  :)

I really want to figure out what's wrong with this monitor.  Perhaps I should just buy a replacement, but maybe it's something simple that I could fix.  Any ideas?

Here are some more pictures you can check out.  They might be helpful.  They might not be.
